NEW to acura and already addicted
hey... im 19 from the chicago land area and im new to the TL i just got it about 2 weeks ago after finally selling a heavily modded audi s4 i had.. but i have had 3 jdm cars b4 the audi.. 2001 prelude SH, 2003 G35 coupe, 2007 eclipse, and now im on my 4th jdm with an 06 TL... i am just looking for any TL enthusiests in the chicagoland north suburbs that mights wanna check some meets out or help imput on new mods!.. since i got the car i have powder coated the rims, took the emblams off the back.. and tonight i tried removing my tail lights so i can paint (tint) them but just realized i have to take off the rear bumper so itll all have to wait till 2marrow morning
.. i have a set of eibach pro springs ordered already and cant wait to put them on.. hopefully by winter break i will have an A spec kit and new pipes...and by next summer im hoping for a complete transfermation and possibly working on a custome wide body design.. i will also post pictures up soon to show the progress..

Traveling the country
I was the same way when I was your age. After 2-4 months I was bored and had to sell and try something else. I have owned everything from one spectrum to the other. I am now 26 and have owned at least 25 cars. I am some what settling down now, I am to busy to trade all of the time like I used to.
It is nice to drive a different car every couple of months though.
Anyway, congrats on the purcahse. Can not wait for the pics.

Ya.. i do get sick of cars quickly and i have also totaled the eclipse.. it wasnt very pretty (hit a wall head on at about 85 after slowing down ;( (ouch) the car was a complete lose.. put in about 3 grand the same week it happened

haha.. ya.. but all i care about is cars.. so i work hard and all my money goes toward buying and putting parts in.. pay for everything on my own (which def leaves me broke at the end of each month) but its worth it

hey coreshredder, i live in the north suburbs and i would like to check out meets, too. what kinda of job do u have? after all those cars u drove, u driving a TL now makes me very satisfied with my choice.
