New 3G owner, not new member
Well, after purchasing my 2003 Acura TLS back in 2002 brand new....fast forward 9 years, 2 months and 3 transmissions....
it was finally time for me to upgrade my daily driver. I had done alot of searching as to whether or not I wanted to stay in the Acura family due to the 2G trans issues, but felt that the later 3G models would be the perfect fit for me. So I picked up a 2008 carbon bronze pearl TLS w/ navi yesterday.
Love the car thus far; drives totally different than the 2G TLS's and am looking forward to driving this car for just as long as my 2G. Quick pic below just for starters. The only mods I would do would be audio, lighting and maybe a light tint; everything else will remain bone stock.
ps - yes i will update my sig accordingly

I owned my 03tls for 9+ years and never even put in an aftermarket air filter. Lol. if I want fast, ill park the tl and drive my other car.

I will be taking more shots of the car once the rain stops here in NJ and I get a chance to wash it (even though it's garage kept, still dirty). Hopefully by early next week.

lol, when i walked on the lot and saw this color combo (car/wheels), I was sold on it before driving it.

Now if you were talking about my Supra, I've probably put in the purchase price of this TL into the mods of my Supra. That however, is my weekend toy, so I'm ok with what I spend modding that car. This is how my Supra currently sits. awaiting the new setup.
Thanks!! I was actually surprised that a 3 year old car looked this clean coming from a dealer.
yes sir, 5AT. yeah I have done some searches for the ATF and pressure switches prior to purchasing the car; but most of the threads I found focused on the regular 3.2 TL, not the 3.5 TLS. so this also applies to the TLS's too?
