need some advice....smoething smells fishy
as some of you may have seen i am selling my gsxr750 i have it posted on the black market, and on a bunch of other free sites but i got this email and it smells a little fishy......read these two emails from this guy who "wants to buy it"....
First email he contacted me with......
Hello,
I saw your advert via the internet i am interested in buying your (GSXR 750 - $4250 ) .... i would like to know the last selling price you are giving me this good and the constant condition of it, i would like you not to worry about the shipping because there is shipping company which carter for my consingment anywhere in the world and will definately come for the pickup.Most important,i will need your full name and address in which the payment will be send without any delay.

Thanks for the mail the price is okay with me,
i want you to know that i will prepare a payment of
$9,900 for you because i have make solid arrangement for the pickup, Please as soon as the cashier check get to you there take your money $4,250 and send the
remaining to the shipping company for the shipment of
the goods he will definately come for the pick up of
goods. If it is okay with you i will like you to
advise me your full name and address your phone
number so as to prepare the payment without delay.

Now mind you i havnt given him my name or address yet, as i still need some more info and i also told him that i do not want to be responsible for paying the shipper and that i want a certified check. I also explained to him that the pink slip is home in long island........what do u guys think

Trust Me 
It is a scam. You will probably get a check that will
utimately bounce ( even though it is a "cashiers check"). If you send
the "extra money" you will certainly never see the pickup made ( and
if you do you will be out twice the amount).

i work at a bank and i see this scam all the time.
you will get a certified check but its still gona bounce. when you send them the "extra" money back. its your cash. the bank check comes back later and your account is not negative the full amount plus the "extra" amount.
and if you send the bike. you are out that amount too!
list it on ebay or penny saver or something. dont waste your time posting it on places just so that you save some listing fees. its not worth it.
