Looking at this free carfax from the dealer, what does the additional loan or lean reported mean? Also, why would the title number change?

It also says it was a corporate vehicle. Any thoughts on that?

42000 miles in two years, what would be a reasonable offer, assuming everything else is clean? 2007 base TL w/Navi. I haven't seen it yet, maybe this weekend.

I decided to run an AutoCheck history. It is showing mileage reported on 02/20/2008 as 67,809.

This is the same date the the CarFax report says the car was issued a different title number. The current odometer reading is 41,939.

Does this mean a mileage error was made on the original title, and a new one was issued to correct it?

Or has the odometer been rolled?

You sure it was miles and not KM on the other site? 41939 miles is 67494km pretty close to the other number... might want to make sure it was miles.

Corporate vehicle means it was registered to a company, and was a company car for somebody.

The carfax link won't pull up, but the title # changing could be the person who was issued the car as a company car decided to buy it from the company.

Good thought, but it says mileage, and it was in Arkansas, so I'm pretty sure it's miles.

I'm guessing it was a mistake, and that's why there was a second title issued. But, my wife isn't happy that the two reports show different mileage, so I think we'll pass on this one.
