Need Help In The So Cal Area Pleassse!!!!
Hello everyone! I'm new around these forums and I've just recently got my 2004 Acura TL about a week or so ago. However, being the unfortunate/beginning driver I am, there has been 2 occasions in which once, I went a little too roughly on a ditch I was not aware of and felt a little bit of a scrape underneath me. Lastly, once when I was parking, I very slightly brushed past a honda accord and therefore, got like 2 minor scratches near the front of the car. Now I wanna check out these problems as soon as possible and it would be awesome if anyone who lives in this area can recommend me some people or places that would do an awesome job hopefully fixing these issues?? Would something like these minor scratches be a problem that most professionals would be able to fix? Would I merely have to just paint over them/ignore them or could something better done about it? I would wholeheartedly appreciate any good recommendations from everyone who lives in this area with places and car mechanics that are professional, reliable, and well-known? Thanks!!!

Acura 101 West in Calabases has a paint guy coming by once a week who is a master at removing small scratches. I had four scratches removed by him on my 99 TL for $22. Can't even see em anymore, so he did a great job.
I am sure that Keyes in Van Nuys has a similar service.

I can't recommend any places, but I can offer some information.
Your first scrape (underneath the car). Most probably, this was a black plastic piece (your air dam) that scraped. You do not need to get that fixed unless you ripped that piece off in the ditch. Most of us have scraped it at one point or the other. You can do a search on "air dam" and find more info.
G'luck with the car.
