Need HELP with Rear Side Marker Upgrade!
I have waiting for my TL-S rear side markers to come in for my 2007 and they arrived today! I bought them off ebay from Acura of Escondido.
Anyway when my husband got home we tried to install them and that is when the problem occurred. We took the old ones out no problem. But then we tried to put the new ones in and seems like the plug wont fit into the new ones. Am I missing something? I have seen many of you do this mod successfully and said it was pretty easy which is why I decided to give it a try. It also says on the ebay listing that they are supposed to fit years 2004-2007. Mine is a base 2007 non-navi. Please help!!. I am so upset right now because they are not fitting and I have no clue what to do.
THANKS in advance!

I believe they should fit fine. Make sure you have the right marker for the side you're trying to install on. When I installed mine, one fit better than the other. try the other side out too. Afte that, it should pop right in.

The old plugs match up perfectly and snap in and out like a breeze. I am scared to force it but I think I got in one side but I had to push pretty hard and it would be pretty hard to get out. Are you supposed to have to push that hard to get it in? Will it cause any damage because it doesnt fit as smoothly as the other ones. I dont plan on taking these things in and out anyway. If I can get them in correctly they will stay! Now my husband is getting mad at me and he thinks I just messed up my brad new car I hope not!

Just use a little force and make them go in, it will work. How many of us have done it? Push equally so you don't wedge it in. It will also help to have your keyfob with you to make sure they work before you put them in the fender.
