I'm doing some mods to my front grille and I need a replacement "A" emblem for the front. I've been looking at many oem sites and there 2 different part numbers for an '06 TL "A" (which I have) and an '07 Type-S "A". The '07 type-s "A" emblem is only $9 and the '06 "A" emblem is $20. Aren't they the same thing? If not, what's the difference? The part numbers are 75700-sep-a00 (Type-S, $9) 75700-sok-a01 (TL base, $20). Thanks for any info.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I talked to the parts guy at my local dealer and he couldn't tell me. He was telling me that the pricing for these car parts is so F-ed up. For example, sometimes a part for the left side of a car is more than the identical part for the right side.....weird. Thanks again. Is it the same chrome finish?

 

aight so i compared mine to my neighbors and there is a huge diff.. the tl-s is alot bigger than the stock one by maybe 1'. so i guess u have to spend that $20 or u can try and go to junkyards. sometimes u can find stuff like that for a $1 or $2.
