Need Help Deciding on buying 06 TL
Whats up everyone! Ive been looking around to buy a 3g Acura Tl for the past few months and came across this one on craigslist. Just wanted to ask you guys on your opinions on this TL. Mainly for the price is it worth it? The TL do have some mods on it which i was trying to stay away from but just wanted to ask other TL oweners your guys .
Currently have a 00 Acura Integra GSR with 53k miles on it and want to upgrade to a 3g TL! The link for the ad is provided.

Personally i love my tl although i have the 2007 s-type which is a bit different then your normal everyday tl. Like you had stated when you buy a car with mods on it you have to be careful because the work on the car a lot of the time was done by the person selling the car who usually isn't a mechanic. Looking at your post it does have more then just your everyday stuff so before buying it i would take it to my local mechanic that you trust have him go over the car make sure it would pass inspection and stuff like that. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to find out where the guy had the work done, and if he had it done at a local shop and something breaks they may fix it for free or at a lower cost because the work had been done with them. 19k is a lot for a car with that many miles and no warranty... KBB has that car in excellent condition at 19000 i would offer 18,000

That seems very high for me. My rule of thumb when buying a used car with mods is the price will decrease. Many people believe their cars are worth more with mods, but in reality almost all car buyers would rather have a bone stock car.
If KBB has the car at excellent for $19,000 I would seriously consider offering something much lower.
That's just my two cents. I am also looking for a new TL, except i want a TL-S.
