Dear all,

I was at the Stevens Creek Acura dealership in Santa Clara today. After a couple of hours, we finally agreed on the final strike price, however, I was asked to sign a contract authorizing them to run a credit check even though I made it clear I was paying cash. Apparently, since they belong to Autonation, the corporation requires them to have all customer sign this contract in case the checks or lease does not go through, I was also told that it is now required by the government for my information to be ran against the national known terrists list.

Anybody that have dealt with Stevens Creek or AutoNation had the same experiences or can confirm?

Please help!
