Need help???

I finally convinced my boy to get a TL and he purchased it today! The car is in excellent shape and and he got a great price. The only issue that he had with the car that he is trying to resolve is that one of the pieces in the interior is jacked up. He has the black leather interior with the brushed aluminum and carbon fiber trim. On the right of the drivers side seat, the long aluminum trim that goes from underneath the navi all the way to under the armrest that is next to the gear selector is all bent and scratched up. i dont know the name of the piece but i was hoping you guys could direct me to where he could find a cheap replacement. I dont have pics as of now but if they are really needed i will post them tomorrow. thanks in advance.

Why don't you take it to the dealer? Where did he buy it from?

I believe you're talking about Item 9 in this drawing:

Not Cheap.

I did not see what year/model he got. This is for the 2007 TL-S, but the part should be in a similar location for your model/year (Interior/Bumper --> Front Console).

Here's a 2005 Base w/Navi:

Same item in the list (9), but different part. A bit cheaper too.

If I identified the right item (#9), it's $70-ish for the TL-S; $55-ish for the 2nd link.
