Need to find a black right rear door near Atlanta, any suggestions?

It was a bad morning . I smashed the passenger side rear door into a pillar in the parking deck this morning. I'm so mad at myself...

The damage is substantial, so I will at minimum need a new skin for the door which means a paint job and possibly blending as well. I'm guessing that would turn out to be some pretty pricey body work. I was thinking instead just to find a used door at a junkyard, same color NBP/Black, and swapping it out myself. What do you all think?

Anyone have any suggestions for places near Atlanta, Georgia to start my search for a right rear black door? I don't mind making a road trip to a neighboring state to locate one either, but hope to take care of this soon, so I don't have to see the nasty reminder of my mistake

This would be a long shot, but there's a junkyard up by me - near the Mall of Georgia in Buford. At one time I think he had a wrecked TL there he was selling(could have been another place though)..might have a line on some options for your door.

Are you sure you want to do this? Even if you manage to find a door of the same color it might not actually be the same color do to sun exposure and other things. Anyways try www.car-parts.com. Also make sure nothing else is bent behind the door. Like the latches are all in the right place and what not. It would suck to replace the door to find out not everything lines back up like it use too.

Thanks berzerker. They didn't have one on hand, but found one in town in gold. I'm going to keep looking for a black one, but if not, that may make a good repaint choice.

Don, the color mismatch is definitely a fear I have. I'm hoping since the car is relatively new and most used parts should be as well, it will match good enough that its not too noticable. If it doesn't turn out well, I guess I'll have to get a good paint job after all, but in the total scheme of thing the price will probably work out pretty close. What do you guys think?

Don, thanks for the car-parts link. I did find a black one down in Melbourne. I got a buddy out there who is going to take a look at it for me to make sure its in good condition. In the meanwhile, I continue to search for a black one closer to ATL.

By the way, I assume right rear doors between 2004-2008 are all identical correct?

You must have insurance? A $500 deductible is little to pay to make sure the job is done correctly. I'm sure that kind of damage would fall under the comprehensive part of your policy and wouldn't affect your rates much.
