New TL owner here. Got a used TL and found this under the driver's seat. Anyone know what it is and where it goes? Thanks

Looks like the sunglansses holder to me. It snaps into the door pocket on the driver or passenger doors.

Yup---it's great if you want to turn your sunglasses into a missile everytime you close your door. Works as well as the coin holder....

It is the sunglasses holder and it is completely useless. Remove it from the vehicle to increase your 0-60 time by 0.000865 secs.

you guys should check the user manual more often...

Of course, you can put other stuff in it... as long as it fits nicely...

I put my sunglasses in the holder before and the sunglasses rattled like maracas. Acura fail at the design.

I must agree on the lack of usefulness of the sunglass holders in the door pockets. Return it to under your seat. Actually I bought one of those visor clips and they work great!
