My trip to the dealership today...
Hi Everyone, new here and just wanted to vent. So I've been looking for an 07-08 Type S, and went to look at one at an Acura stealership today. It's an 07 with A-Spec package, CBP with 41k miles. They're asking $24,888. It had 1 owner, very well taken care of, interior and exterior very clean, just some minor wear and tear.
I did notice that the front tires were a different brand then the rear tires. Front a-spec lip didn't fit well, doors and fenders had those rubber strips to avoid dents (which I don't like.) I test drove it then went to the office. I then took it to a mechanic for an inspection and then the Tighten Fuel cap message came on and wouldn't go away!
Being this is the first used car I am buying, I got spooked. Mechanic said they could have just changed the cap, or there could be a problem with the sensor so I took it back to the dealer. But right when I got back to the stealership, the message went away! I didn't know what to do so I just told them I didn't want it. After I left, I searched the forums and found it's a common problem so now I feel like an idiot. I should of just got it inspected and tried to deal for it. Sorry for the long post but I'm debating if I should go back tomorrow.

Thanks. I believe I have looked at that car before. I passed because of the white interior and the rims on it. Im looking for a CBP, black interior, good carfax >50k miles and have Ive been looking for a GOOD while now. All the ones Im really interested in gets sold so quickly. But if you interested in a color besides CBP just hmu, I can send you some links.

it's not a bad thing for a car to have 2 different sets of tires on it, it just means that something happened and they did not have matching tires in stock so they use something simillar on the car. See it all the time on cars where people do not rotate their rubber. On most cars the driven wheels usually wear down faster than the non driven ones..
