My TL is gone!

Just wanted to say it's been a good couple years here. I have learned a lot and tried to contribute as much as I can to help others out as well. However, this past friday I traded in my '05 TL for an '06 RSX-s. So I'm still with an Acura/Honda and I plan on sticking around to help out when I can. There are some great people on here.

Some may look at going from a TL to an RSX as a downgrade. Personally I look at it as a step in the right direction. I plan on getting married and in order to do so I need to get rid of some debt. Getting the RSX should help free up some money and get me headed in the right direction. I'm sure I'll miss the TL from time to time at least I know I will miss the Bluetooth and Navi. At the same time there is so much more I can do to the RSX and it should keep me pretty occupied for a while with all the aftermarket support out there for it. I also have more fun so far driving this car.

To save money....lol...just wait till you see all the money you can spend on your NEW car! There is WAY more stuff out there for the RSX than the TL model! We'll be seeing you around...thats for sure!!

It seems like you made the right choice seeing that the RSX-S will suit you better. What bad timing because I want those 19" buddy clubs bad but i just got new wheels 2 days ago.

I went the opposite direction about 10 months ago. Although I enjoy the luxury features of the TL (Bluetooth, XM Radio, dual zone climate control, etc.), I really miss driving the Type S. Have fun and enjoy the new ride!

haha... nobody really did. I had been tossing around the idea for quite some time. I actually would have been driving a Corolla XRS if my friend had sold it to me. Unfortunately he wasn't ready to sell it until today... he said he is kicking himself in the ass now. Oh well I love honda's anyways.

Well it was good brainstorming with you about the accord suspension and strut bar dilemnas, and not to forget the exhaust/downpipe solutions.

What color rsx did you go with...i love those last gen rsx's.

You should bring it to the DC skyline drive meet in Oct.

Magnesium Metallic.... I actually went to skyline yesterday with a bunch of friends over on another forum. We had a blast and I got to add a lot of break in miles to the car. Think I have like 200 left and I am good to go.

I may make it out to the Acurazine skyline drive cruise.

Iam never good at good bye's But I want to say thanks for helping me decide on what rims to get for my car, you helped me a tremendious amount.

The TL is a nice car but you got to do what you gatta do, I probably would of done the same. Your gonna make a good husband and dont forget to invite us to the wedding

At first I thought your car was stolen..... But you sold it. I loved your ride. I think your drop+wheels was perfect....

Sounds like a good plan. Cars are nothing but a waste of money!

As people get older they will find that there are more important things to spend their money on like starting your family, a house, and retirement.

hey just curious. how much more are you saving now with the rsx. were u paying monthly?? just give me good details cuz i just proposed to my girl and actually thought about getting a cheaper car, so i'm in the same situation as you.
