Talking My SSM 05 6MT/NAVI - much easier to drive

I've had my car for a little over 3 months now, and up until about 4K miles [i have 5k miles on it now], shifiting was still very sensitive, due to catch point being so low... then all of a sudden, so it seems, the catch point seems more 'normal' like other hondas and acuras... I was getting used to the TL clutch too, but i think i like it better like this. Less jerky in 1-2 gears.

To TL clutch newbies... it gets better.

Try changing the transmission fluid. Recently I changed mine with GM-FM fluid. The difference was far greater than I expected. It really made the shifter seem much smoother, almost like getting a new transmission. The clutch is still tricky even after 6000 miles. I think I'm getting used to it, but if I don't drive the car for a few days, when I get back into the car, the 1-2 shift still seems jerky until I get the "feel" again for the clutch. I've got another Honda with a 5mt, and don't have the problem. The TL just has a "tricky" clutch.
