My dilemma: should I part out?
Would appreciate the advice of the forum...
I currently have my car for sale (link here). https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hreadid=372544
The tires on the gunmetals were just about shot, and I hadn't received much interest on my car. So I put some brand new shoes on. I went top of the line - Michelin Pilot A/S 245/40/18 - total bill came to over $1,200 w/ alignment and road hazard. My thinking was that I probably would have to keep the car, so I went w/ the Michelins as my previous Pirelli Pzero's were crap.
Well, wouldn't you know it - I've got an offer for the car 2 days later but the buyer prefers the stock wheels. Can I part out and expect to get anything close to my $ back on the new tires? The offer is $26.5k for the car with stock wheels. Can I expect to get at least 80% of my money back on the new tires? They literally have less than 100 miles on them. I'm sure everyone know how expensive they are - roughly $240-270 per tire depending on where you buy. Should I sell the car, and then take the rubber off the gunmetals? I'm considering placing a feeler for sale ad on the forum. What do you all think? I need to make a decision soon. (By the way, I strongly endorse these tires - so smooth it almost makes me want to keep the car.) Thanks.

Guys- if you wanna buy/sell- take it to PM or continue this discussion in the BM thread. Otherwise answer the man's questions.
