my 02tl type S VS is300 with exhaust
so im driving down the 163 last night in san diego, when a IS300 pulls next to me. we are doing about 70mph and light traffic. i can hear him rev his engine as he is next to me. all i can see is that he is lowered with exhaust. who knows what else he has. he pulls about 2 car lengths ahead of me and then guns it(what a douche). then i gun it and by mid 4th gear i catch up and start to pull on him. at this time im about 1/2 car length ahead of him going about 135mph and as i look to the side of the freeway. I see a cop parked on the side of highway
. All he did was turn his lights on and shut them back off. guess we were going to fast for him to try and catch us. i nearly had a heart attack. i wonder what else was done to the is300 because i thought i would have beat him a little more than i did

Well, you gunned it after him, that's already a second or two of delay, then you were two car lengths behind, and you still pulled back 1/2 a car length, I would say that's pretty good.

Be careful on those IS300, they can be an ultimate sleeper and you will never know. Those with 2JZ from the Supra and can be built with all Supra's parts and with a decent turbo 380+ rwhp easily. Helped a buddy built one and he got 3 mods of boost, 380rwhp conservative, click a button add few more psi 400+ and the ultimate button is for the Corvette. Best part is that you don't even know it's boosted, no flashy gauges on the pillar.
