Motor and Trans mounts

I have been shopping around for motor mounts and trans mounts for my 2004 TL Automatic Trans. Anyone recommend any particular websites to purchase from? I have also found packages that include 5 pieces and also 6 pieces...3 motor mounts and 2 trans mounts or 3 motor mounts and 3 trans mounts? What is the correct number of total mounts for the transmission? With all that being said, I have been getting prices of around 400$ to install the mounts. Is it really that time consuming/hard to be that price? Thoughts and advice are appreciated in advance!

It depends what labor rates are for the total cost of install, but book time for the mounts are as follows...

Motor:
  • Front: 2 - 2 1/4 hours
  • Rear: 1 1/2 Hours
  • Side: 1/2 Hour
Transmission:
  • About 1/2 Hour per mount
It may take a little longer then that depending what condition the bolts are in and how much they fight coming out. Our labor rate is $99 an hour, so assuming everything went the smoothest it could go, it'd be $400 here too. Doing installs in your driveway are a great way to save money, but ones like this can difficult if you're working alone.

The vacuum port is supposed to minimize vibration.
