yeah, I just said my TL should have come with those. Some dealers put them in the glovebox. dont be pissed if their actually in yours. I complained and said i wanted the plugs that came with my TL. guy went into the back and pulled a set from a bucket they had filled with the plugs.

yea.. those are front license plate bumper plugs
dealers suppose to place them in the glove box for later uses but most tends to toss them away.
my used to be a neighbor who is a salesperson at the acura dealer was going to grab me the pairs of these plugs but i didn't had time to go ask for one.
this is considered my most expensive mod since they are $30 for very small piece of plastics/urethane. even my arc radiator cap doesn't cost as much

I bought my TL used, so I had to buy them (only $11.99 at my dealer). We are required to have a front plate in Utah but I think the TL looks much better without it so I risk going without one.

hmmm interesting, when i bought my TL-S the front plate was on obviously and it was only after reading on this forum and checking out other peoples' TLs that i wanted to get rid of my plate. called the dealer about it and they were like "they weren't in your dash compartment? alright swing over and we'll grab them for you."
seems the service center has them and the dealership never asked me for money for the parts. pretty painless, but i guess it depends from dealer to dealer! =)

It seems that dealers in states that require front plates "throw them away" I had asked my dealers for it and that's what they all say. I ended up getting some from the guys in the actual shop. They had a drawer full of them. Especially the guys working on detailing the new cars.
