Got a no fee/no conveince check charge credit card (till next Feb) from USAA and used that to the max credit limit to 20,500. Put the rest on a home equity credit line which I'll pay off in 2-3 months. Will save the $$ for the credit card amount an pay off just before it is due.

I did this because my work car allowance is $350, so I wanted to stay at that number.

I'm assuming you bought a used TL without Navi. Am I correct?

36 Month Lease. $3500 down, $434/mo - Approx. $12,000 lease buyout/EOT. 2006, paid Aprox. $32,000 + TTL. Got the Honda Financing special for the TL in February. Could have had for $399 month with another $1000 down and the standard 12,000 allowed miles instead of 15,000 I purchased. The short lease is perfect for me.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought mine was moderate-high--but after looking throught this thread, I'm counting myself as lucky.

I traded in my 01 Accord EX V6 w/ 125,000mi and got 7,000 for it.

Added enough onto that to be 10,000 down, and got a good rate, forget what it was.

499/month for 60 months for '06 TL Auto w/Navi. I bought the first '06 to come out of my local dealership

Man, that seems high to me. You put $10,000 down, and still financed $29,940? Were you turned upside down pretty badly on the Accord?

Yeah - I had an '02 Galant GTZ that was paid off - so I traded that in.

Wanted to keep payments at $350. I plan to buy it at the end of the lease - this way I won't lose that $7k completely...
