If its humid when you seal the lights you will seal some water vapor inside them. Air needs to be real dry when you are doing this.

I did mine during the summer and in my humid basement and have had no moisture problems.
Using rolled butyl rubber is far better than silicone sealant. The seal is as it came from the factory and you can open them up again with no problems.
For people with a CAI, the drivers side is also wide open so both would be exposed to a lot of water in the rain.
When I sealed mine up, I used small spring clamps to hold it together as another member described.
