i have a 2002 tl-s w/ I/H and tb spacer, but i am selling it in a few months and my dad is giving me his 2004 tl 5at. I wanted to kno (if possible on the automatic) what mods i would need to be able to break into 13's w/o supercharging it....even at least like a 14.0

 

better tires. that will help you off the line and give you more grip. but to make a second of a difference, I think you need power adders.

I have a buddy with a pretty modded evo. he ran mid-13s for the most part. he put on a bigger turbo, a retune and better tires, and even with his crappy driving he made a high 12-second pass. granted he didnt pick the right turbo (his spooled at higher rpms, putting his 1/4 times at a disadvantage) but you get the idea. I think for the TL you'd need susbtantial power adders to chip off a second from your 1/4 mile time.

 

maybe some nos ......aside form a supercharger and procats, nothing much is made for our engine.
