Might be getting new TL-S this weekend -> best dealer in Seattle area?
I'm hoping to pick up a new TL-S this weekend (probably Moroccan Red) but can't decide which dealership to concentrate on negotiating with (Lynnwood, Bellevue, or Seattle).
Any recommendation from my fellow forum members? Or should I just start with the closest? (Lynnwood)

I was at Acura of Seattle checking out the TL-S and they have no 6 speeds left. The salesmen said they will get some towards the end of January. He also said you can get a TL-S lease for 0 down 599 a month. Not sure if 599 means taxes included. Most likely not.

Well, for the record, I ended up purchasing from Acura of Bellevue.
I spent about 3 hours working with a GREAT sales guy at Lynnwood (not sure if he'd want me to post his name?), but unfortunately couldn't work out a deal with the Sales Manager that I was happy with. I think we were pretty close, sadly, it's just that I was pretty tense by the time we'd gotten to the final stages and really didn't feel I could be happy with the deal without checking around a bit. If I'd have felt confident about the numbers on both sides, we probably could have worked out a deal.
And of course, once I was at the Bellevue dealership, I felt too guilty about the whole thing to call Lynnwood back to "work both ends". Sadly I'm still a bit soft to REALLY work the system...
So...basically, I liked both of my sales guys, so if anyone else is looking in the area, I'd have no problems recommending either Lynnwood or Bellevue. It may just depend on how close you are to either.
It was definitely a learning experience...although I'm left scratching my head about some things...
1) What makes the "dealer cost" higher than the "Invoice Price"? Is it a "fair" cost, or just a negotiating tactic?
2) Getting even KBB/Edmunds "trade-in" value for a trade-in was a lot harder than I thought (and in fact, I caved a bit on it). Both dealers were VERY reluctant to go much higher than the local "auction" values of my trade-in (can't remember the specific source offhand, but some kind of auction site). These were, of course, quite a bit lower than KBB/Edmunds trade-in values. Reasonable, or another trick-of-the-trade? Or just a reminder that I really need to sell my old car directly next time instead of trying to trade it in...

mmmmmm....
good to hear that everything worked out... yeah, both are great dealers. I heard all the good things about them. I know many of friends had some bad experience with seattle one. They are known as dicks..

Rexfelis, do you mind sharing what kind of deal you got on your TL-S. I am planning on buying mine soon and I would like to see what kind of deals they are giving in the Seattle area.
Did you go straight to the dealer or did you contact them via email first?

Hi all. I just moved to Seattle so this dealer info is of great help. I hope Lynnwood and Bellevue treat an outside Acura purchaser with the same care as their own sales. How is Lynnwood and Bellevue in regards to paying on warranty claims and on loaner needs?
For example in Kansas City, Jay Wolfe gave you the option of getting a free Panera lunch or a loaner with an oil change. I've read other Acura threads where other dealers in the nation are quite rude about getting a loaner even for warranty work and try to force you to take a shuttle.
Ohh, I have a Moroccan Red Pearl 07 TL since I traded in my TSX.
Thanks!
