MID question?

Hey guys, I've owned my car since the end of September and my MID has been reading 18mpg and avg speed of 20 since then. It has never changed. I have about 3100 miles on my car now. Does anyone know if I have a problem with it??

at that screen, press and hold the reset button, after a few miles of driving, it should even out to the mileage you are getting at your current speed...

keep in mind, the MID considers fuel efficiency at all speeds, including 0 MPH... so when your engine is running and you're at a light, its basically lost fuel, the MID is giving you a pretty accurate account of your true MPG

my best guess for the reson its not updating is because, it has way too much data from past for the new numbers to change it now. In other words, the newer input is not throwing off the average accumulated overtime.

just reset, and it should update. otherwise... there might be a problem with your trip computer sensors.
