Thumbs up Mental Anguish Resolved. Got my TL!

I actually got the call that my TL was in yesterday. But of course, I was in meetings all day, and was unable to pick it up. So, first thing this morning, I got my new TL. Blue/Gray/NAVI/6MT (trunk tray, locks, wing spoiler). So far, I'm loving it. I drove it back frm the dealership (about 180 miles) and everything was great. Only 2 small problems I noticed.

1) Slight vibration sound in front speaker on songs with heavy/deep base

2) I saw a thread sticking up from the leather on the passenger side. (Thread loop). I'm afraid to cut it, I don't know what may happen.
......
3) No acrua pen, only got the demo DVD-A

The dealer told me thre wasn't a burn in period, but I'm still going to granny foot it for the next 600 miles.

As you probably know, they don't give pens anymore.

As far as the thread from the seam, I would cut it. I had one sticking from the seatback seam on the passenger seat as well. About half an inch long. I used a blade to cut it close the the root.

What do you think about the clutch when starting and shifting to second? Mine feels a little tricky.

Haven't noticed anything out of the oridinary. The hardest part about shift for me is the 6th gear.. this is my first 6th speed, and I tend to shift down into 4th when I'm not thinking.

Where did you get your TL and what did you pay? I'm in Chapel Hill and am starting to look, but am not finding much flexibility on price. Thanks.

I went to Stevenson Acura in Wilmington, NC. Call Pat Koballa at 910-392-8490. He's who I delt with. It was my first time getting a new car, and I couldn't have imagen them being more helpful. When I came to pick up the car, another fellow (I forget his name), was the one who gave me the walk thru of the car.. he went over every button. Even offered to setup my telephone for me!

Tell him that Casey Blackburn sent you. I'm sure he'll be willing to help you. In fact, I just called him and he said it's okay for people to call him directly.
