Member of the Club....Finally!
I wanted to take a moment to say Hello to everyone and introduce myself. I finally became a member of the exclusive TL Club this past Wednesday 10/27. That's when I took delivery of my new toy from Hendrick Acura in Charlotte, NC. She is a 2005 Abyss Blue Pearl TL with Camel Interior. I've been so busy driving, I have not had a chance to say "Hello" until tonight. I also wanted to Thank everyone on this forum who posted so many informative and entertaining threads. They helped to guide me in my purchase. I learned a lot about this car from all of you.
As far as the car goes, what can I say?
It's awesome! More car than I imagined. Of course, I did step up from a '93 Prelude. The buying process went very smooth as well. So far so good. No rattles, vibrations, etc. I've averaged 19 mpg during the first 200 miles. We finally had a break in the wet weather today here in Charlotte, so I was able to clean her up. Damn these cars are hot!
I'll close for now. I hope to hear from other TL owners / members in the Charlotte area. Take care.
