I never really considered carbon fiber for a roof spoiler, but it doesn't look bad at all for the price. I'm still considering a black roof, so it might go with it well. Even if I avoid the roof mod, do you guys think the CF spoiler will look good with a WDP roof?

... Wait. Is that good or bad?? lol
I'm thinking (and obviously I need to see a WDP with a white roof/black roof spoiler to get an honest opinion) that with the smoked OEM window visors and and rear 20% window tints that it MIGHT look ok... ? Also, the rear plate area has a simulated CF look, so it's not like it's really out of place. Right? Or am I dillusional?
Here is my dilemma. One... $$$. Two... I understand that matching WDP can be a PITA, which to me sounds like a premium price may be charged to do so. "Plug and Play" is definitely nice, which CF will allow by eliminating the need to have the piece painted.
However, I am looking to avoid getting too flashy. My car is a TL... not a Integra. I want to stick with the clean looks that the car already has, but just add some tasteful pieces that enhances the lines of the body. Is CF going the wrong direction for the theme I have chosen for the car?

WHAT?! I was waiting for ATLP to come out with theirs! Its crazy because today I was looking for price quotes to get the ATLP painted. I got from 180.00 - 400... So, Now I might as well just get this one and sell my ATLP.. Since I wanted a carbon fiber one from the begining..
I called Megan and asked them about the quality of the wing and fitment.. The guy I spoke with said they test fit them and that the batch on ebay was spot on.
So, I will buy this and post pics when I get it.. and if it turns out ok, ill post my ATLP up for sale!
Thanks for posting this up man!! Its fate that I get this wing it seems!! lol

Thanks for making that call. Before I buy mine, I need to see some pictures of a black roof spoiler of a WDP... any make or design will probably help.

Yeah... the black vinyl overlay is a mod that I have been highly considering, but I'll probably wait until later this year. This roof spoiler will look good with it, I'm sure. But it's going to be installed on a car with a white roof for awhile, so I'm hoping that it doesn't look bad. I like to play with my new toys when I get them, so waiting to put it on until the vinyl roof comes along will kill me.

Honestly, If I were to do it again, I would paint the roof black.. DOGH.. Soooo much shinier..

Looks like there are 3 of these available on this sale. I haven't looked to see if there are any more entries. I might just screw the pooch and purchase one today, pending the wife's approval!

You're right. Painting it would look the best. I would imagine that there would be less maintenance involved. Resale value may be affected, but I guess for someone like me who plans on keeping the car for about another 120k miles, the car won't be worth much anyhow by the time it gets sold. Something for me to consider...

ok so i emailed cozy_styles and this is his reply:
guess i will waiting till someone confirms fitment !!!
Dear chuma_de1,
As it turned out, these particular spoilers had fitment issues and were recalled by Megan Racing. We will be getting the improved version in about 2 months if you like to check back with us then. Thank you for your interest and sorry for the inconvenience.

^ I love how some vendors fail to shed the light on that kind of information. Thanks for the tip!

So I spoke with someone at Megan.. the guy I spoke with picked up and placed me on hold for a sec because he didn't hear about the fitment issues.. So.. when he came back he DID say that they DID have fitment issues and that they recalled ALL of the wings.. He also said the vendor SHOULD return my money back and send me an e-mail.. He told me they are getting the new batch in about a month..
As long as I get my money back I am cool to wait another month..

Wow.. that was fast.. Money returned! Just got an email from the vendor verifying they had problems with this batch.. good job of Megan of taking care of their reputation!!
I will definitely be waiting for this one.. Hopefully this or ATLP will have their carbon fiber one soon..
Now I am just going to go ahead and sell my ATLP spoiler.. since the guy at Megan said they are really trying to get these things on the market!

please do not attempt to set up any group buys as the seller is not an AZ vendor. thanks.

dont know if that is allowed or not....but this is what i meant....
if there were 10 people who were interested in this....would just tell the ebay dude on ebay to setup some kind of a special coupon code.....and the members would save some dough....
but if its not allowed, wont do it !!! dont wanna get !!!

if the seller wants to set up a coupon code he is free to do it. obviously that would benefit everyone. the caveat is- just don't use AZ to start any lists of members who are interested in purchasing the spoiler. thanks.

Wow, that's actually a really classy, yet sporty design. I'm thinking that SSM TL+A-spec kit+gun metal a-spec wheels+CF Megan Roof Spoiler = Pure Sex. At least for me lol
BTW, wattup bro. I gotta' be on the lookout for a dropped WDP now haha. See you around SD man.

Rafee, that looks really good on a NBP TL. I considered a carbon fiber hood for my ASM Type S, but the contrast was too much-it didn't look good (I thought).

thanks steven, but yea i wouldnt recommend a cf hood for any colors besides NBP because the contrast really is just too much for a car like the TL. but carbon fiber roof spoiler wouldnt be too much at all in my opinion, for any color
