Me vs. E46 M3 and then CL-S

I was on the 401 yesterday afternoon coming back home and had a few pretty good runs on the highway. I was crusing at around 100mph since the highway was absolutly empty. I checked my rear view mirror and noticed that a BMW was approaching from behind me VERY quickly. If I was going 100mph I dont even want to imagine what he was doing. I didnt realize it was an M3 until he was right beside me. He got next to me and slowed down to the same speed as me. I have never raced an m3 before and was expecting to get my ass handed to me. We both looked at each other and gave the thumbs up and took off at 100mph. Of course I was in 4th at this time and gave it all i could. He took off pretty hard and I couldnt keep up. I shut down at around 130 and he was gone. I realized that I had forgotten to turn off my AC and not that it would have made much of a difference it would have been somewhat closer.

I always thought that the AC compressor shuts off at WOT but it really doesnt seem like it. I turned off my AC afterwards and went WOT and felt a significant difference. During this a CL-s was coming onto the highway and I thought I would slow down and see if anything was going to happen. We were neck and neck at 60 exactly and we both nodded and we both took off. His car was obviously stock since I immediately gained on him and could see him in my rear view mirror trying to catch up. I shut down at 120 and when he caught up we gave each other a thumbs up and I went back to crusing at 100 and he stayed back. By the way the CL-S was a 5at, Im not sure if there would have been much of a difference had it been a 6mt.

with the AC on you lose about 20HP when you race it is a good idea to have the heater on Fullblast it helps! nice kill on the CLS though my friend handed my ass to me in his CL-S the other night i pulled away at 130 but we had to shut it down then.
