Driving on RT 1 & 9 North cruising about 80mph I see police activity on the Southbound lane and a 540i in front of me. The 540i decides he wants to stop and look at whats going on in the southbound lane and slows down to about 40 in a 50 zone. I give him the brights and he slowly accelerates, as I go to pass him I see his car lunge forward so I give it some gas to see he would go and yep he did. We ran from 50-90 and I had him by a car till I had slow down due to traffic coming up.

Cruising @ 80mph on 1&9. That is a little high for a cruising speed on that road.

Probably cause when he lunged forward it wasn't such an aggressive lunge like you get with a stick when you hit it.

Actually, they really aren't. The 540i weighs in at around 3748 lbs. So if the E39's a boat, then so is the TL cause it only weighs a couple hundred less.
