Those jeeps are freaky fast from a dig, but yeah Mopars are shaky reliability-wise. That one Stang sounded SICK.

Yeah, that Jeep SRT8 will take just about anything on the road...but not only reliability issues, but fuel consumption, and almost NO praciticality (can't haul anything), are all detracting factors.

You are noT kidding. I showed my wifed the mpg on the SRT8 sticker and her jaw dropped. Personally, Jeeps (of ANY kind) are not for me; I proudly consider my Murano as the anti-Jeep of sorts. That said, I would rather have the new 390hp Infiniti FX50.

However, the one featured in the video above is just SICK!!!!

*partly because of the rims and tires*

I have been debating trading it in for the SRT but can't justify it because as of now we never drive the jeep. My wife and I car pool.

I had a friend who had a Magnum SRT8 (same motor as the Jeep) and it was painfully obvious how little you could do to those cars (without spending a bundle). So you could rip apart the motor, replace the heads and cam, tune it and only pick up 30hp. Seemed like Dodge didn't want anyone to F with their cars and made it way too difficult to do major mods.

That being said, my buddy threw on a 100hp nitrous kit and ran 12.0 on street tires. Not bad, but not so good for a 525+hp vehicle.

The Jeeps are only fast because of their traction due to 4WD. They trap shit MPH at the track.
