I have been debating trading it in for the SRT but can't justify it because as of now we never drive the jeep. My wife and I car pool.

I had a friend who had a Magnum SRT8 (same motor as the Jeep) and it was painfully obvious how little you could do to those cars (without spending a bundle). So you could rip apart the motor, replace the heads and cam, tune it and only pick up 30hp. Seemed like Dodge didn't want anyone to F with their cars and made it way too difficult to do major mods.
That being said, my buddy threw on a 100hp nitrous kit and ran 12.0 on street tires. Not bad, but not so good for a 525+hp vehicle.
The Jeeps are only fast because of their traction due to 4WD. They trap shit MPH at the track.
