Question maintence Q

I dont know much about cars but i am learning as i go mostly thanks to this site but anyway what if any maintence should be done to the car that is not listed in the mid? i cant think of anything that would need to be done thats not in there but i am limited in my knowlege about cars so i ask the AZ crew

Yes, I think there are some 30K/60K fluid replacement items (Brake, radiator, transmission, etc.) that are not on the MID schedule that are specified in the owner's manual. You can also see those items in the "maintenance" section of on the Acuralink owner's website once you've registered your car on it. The website also details each item in the A, B, 1-X services referenced by the MID as well.

i thought i saw that the mid dose tell you to replace all fluids i must be mistaken ill check it out the ownerslink thanks

D'oh! I just checked the Acuralink site, and it turns out that the higher numbers on the MID do address changes of various fluids, water pump belts, etc.
Sorry about that-- I guess MID covers fluid replacements as well (I haven't gotten there yet as my TL is at >11,000 miles).
Just check the oil, brakes, etc. listed in the various "inspections" under the MID schedules and make sure that anything that is dropping off or wearing out prematurely is replaced.
