i don't like what you did to it. looks much better stock.
the good thing is that it's easily reversible.

you know all of those pieces come off and you would not have the masking overspray issues. also better finish. Not a big fan.
best thing you could do would be to remove the pinstripes.

I don't consider Plasti-dip "major changes".

Good start, Paul. Now you're ready for a drop and an Aspec Kit.

Drop, aspec, and lose that pinstripe. I'd also make the wheels stock again.

What's so major about plasti-dipping shit on the car and painting calipers red?

I for one like the black grill. The Plasti dip to me really enhances the front face, as well as add a moderately aggressive look to the rims.
As for me personally I would never black out the lights. But I like your car because it's unique. You put effort into something you have pride in.
I go to import car shows, because I enjoy the variety of custom cars. I appreciate the effort people take to make their car stand out from the heard.
I enjoy seeing ideas different from mine. I guess not unlike traveling the world and experiencing other cultures.
Have and upvote for being the black sheep!
(No pun intended..seriously)

You turned your car into a rolling bruise.
Sorry, not a fan.

I think you could pull off the black wheels if done properly, but the lights are a little much.
Like Tyler said, looks like a bruise. Blue and black can be done, but I think the Blue/Silver theme or Blue/White theme would look better.

Thank you guys for all your inputs. Plastidip is reversible so I can bring everything back to stock ... I just saw a TL like that in Naples, Fl and I just wanted to reproduce it.
I'm new to this blog, but I like it already. I need to be more active on this blog

More of a forum, rather than a blog. But then again, there are some people here who have progress threads that more or less are their own blogs I suppose.

Yeah I'm not really a fan of blacking everything out, particularly the lights. I also don't think blacked out everything with red calipers really works with your car's dark blue color.
On another note, IDK why the OP and other people put jack stands in all these crazy places. Just use the frame hoist support points. They're easy to get to and it's where you're supposed to put them anyway.

i like the license plate black.
i dont like beak black.
wheels, idk.
if there's a way to black out lights without reducing visibility/lumens over 5% i would be all over it

Blacking out parts of a car can look good depending on the original color IMO. Lighter colors like white, silver and sometimes red look fine because the darker colors accent the lighter colors. But doing it to darker colors like dark grey, blue and black (unless you're going for murdered I suppose) looks funny because the accents blend in rather than standing out.
But props on chaning things up a bit. Totally reversible if you decided you don't dig it later. I plastidipped my entire car, which I later peeled off when I decided I didn't like it.

I still use the spots on the side but you can't use them all the time.
