Angry Loose headlining

After one month of bliss in my new TL, a friend in the back seat noticed that my headlining was drooping. What!

Upon close inspection, the headlining is attached to the metal roof by the way of VELCRO with sticky (scotch tape consistency) side facing up and detached from the roof. When the service manager looked at it, he too was flabbergasted as I was in that Acura has chosen such a poor method on an entry level premium to secure the interior. He said they epoxy'd the lining back on the roof.

Now, most of you purchased your TL recently in the cooler winter, but will we see droopy headlining come summer in most of our TLs? I hope not, and if so, this is a shame on Acura. Acura needs to fire the brainiac that came up with idea of VELCROing the interior.

The Velcro itself may be a good idea, because that stuff holds very well if they use enough of it, and it won't squeak or rattle. The problem is likely to be the adhesive that holds the Velcro pieces to the body and/or headliner.

VELCRO is okay, but to use a sticky tape like substance? I'm talking about a rectangle of 1" X 1.5" that is used to hold the center of headliner just aft of moon roof. Like I said, I think this will become a bigger problem once the weather starts to warm up. I hope Acura folks come up with a better solution soon.
