Ok, so say that I got the actual type s bumper on my 06 would the bumper itself bolt right onto the car with no problems?

Yes. But the OP's question is:

So I said that I "think they're the same". In the pics I posted, both are base rear A-Spec lips. The first is acuraTLboi's ('04-'06), and the second (NBP) is mine ('07-'08). Yes, I do have the Type-S, but I installed the base A-Spec rear lip to enhance the look of the exhaust.

They look exactly the same to me?!

the outer sides are slightly wider and the hole is bigger for the tips to fit. but other than that the flares and style are the same. from what ive noticed up front.

you need to cut the bottom portion of the bumper off. other than that, yes it is a regular install and it fits just nicely.

If you change the whole bumper, you dont have to cut the bottom portion off.

It will be a remove and replace, simple....

the Type S rear aspec lip is different.

the NHP TL-S in the picture above has the base TL aspec lip on there... he F*cked up i think. or he ordered the wrong aspec rear. but i guess it still fits

Nope, I didn't mess up at all. The GReddy exhaust looks better with the smaller exhaust opening of the base TL.

Give me some more credit than that, Klutch.

Also, it's not NHP. It's NBP. Let's get the facts straight.
