Looking for pics with door edge trim installed

Yep, I know it's a personal preference so no need for the it looks ok, bad, or it plain sucks from the purists. Sooo, I've seen the pics of the cars naked and pics with Body Side Molding, but I would like to see what the door edge trim looks like installed if anyone can point me to some pics? Search didn't help or I wasn't searching properly. Thanks much

I don't think it will look good, but if you wanted to, just go spend 10 bucks and buy enough to cover your doors.

I purchased clear door edging trim and installed it on my anthracite tl and it looks fine. You can barely tell that it is there and it does serve its purpose well

Forget the Door Edge trim from Acura. They're just painted metal that dings and chips just as easily so the net effect is you get visible chips on them instead of your door.

Go aftermarket like I did with something black and pliable that won't chip and will lessen the odds of you denting someone else's car when you open yours.

Thanks. I didn't know if the Acura stuff was plastic like the stuff I wold buy at AutoZone, metal or what. Is the clear trim you're referring to the rockblocker-type film stuff?

I would go with the rockblocker type film just cause it would look so much nicer.

I'm not sure if mine are acura or not, but when I just picked up my Anthracite TL it had door edge trim and trim around the wheel wells (I didn't ask for any trim and didn't know they even had wheel well trim). The trim on the wheel wells was way too obvious since it stopped at the seam in the front fender/bumper, so I pulled it off. It is most definitely rubbery plastic (and it is the anthracite color exactly so I think it is actually from Acura) and NOT metal. So I'm not sure what they put on yours but it doesn't sound like it is the same as mine.

I left the door trim since it matches so well and does serve a real purpose.

I have pictures but they don't show it real well (maybe that is because it blends in so well).
