Looking to get either a 07 or 08 TL..
My first car was a acura legend. I currently have a 99tl w/navi on its second trans rebuild. Overall it has been a great car, but it has had a few problems along the way with the major problem being the trans. I've had the car for a few years now and I feel its time to move on.
I test drove a 08tl with about 48k and liked it but the steering felt a little loose however??? This was my first time in a 3g tl and I am impressed with the quality of the interior. The seats are firmer, and it overall feels like a step up from the 2g, it almost has the bmw feel. My only questions are what issues should I expect with a 07-08 tl??? Whats the difference if any between the 07 and 08, and last how much should I be looking to pay for a 07-08 in the next several months?

Have you driven a TL-S or just not interested? Nothing worth mentioning regarding differences between the 07/08. If you look in the 3G Garage and try and find the TSB's listed- you can see some of the common issues we deal with.

yeah youll find that the 07 -08 in base and type s models are almost identical, pros for 08 is usullay less wear and mileage and 07s are slightly cheaper
the steering should not be loose at all, at least for me i have a 07 tl-s and it is a very tight steering in comparison to most other similar sedans
but if i were you id definitely spend hte extra money and get a type-s, it is sooo worth it

There's not a lot of difference in the 2007/2008's. As ggesq said, give consideration to the Type S-it's a great drive too.
What you'll pay really depends on the mileage and year of the car you buy.

Yeah the IPOD hookup is small beans in comparison to the car itself in a mechanical sense. Hell there are multiple after market solutions for ipod hookups.
I never like to buy the first model of anything. TV's, Cars, etc.. It seems the first release of anything is a learning process, they find bugs/problems and fix them in the later releases.
When comparing a 07 from a 08 i don't think your going to find a big difference.
Its more of an availability and cost issue, whats available and how much does it cost. Really not a big difference in the 2 model years.
I would check kbb.com for prices in your area.
Hahah when i was test driving my first TL i was coming from a 93 SHO and man the steering was super firm in the TL..night and day.
