Question Looking for an East Bay body shop

Does anyone have a recommendation/warning for a body shop in Contra Costa County (CA)? I need to get my bumper repaired. My local dealer (Acura of Concord) recommends Mike's Auto Body. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks in advance.

Frankly, I would not go to the autobody shop that they're recommending. That used to be called M2 Automotive and they do just a pretty bad job with paint matching. M2 Automotive went through bankruptcy recently so I'm guessing Mike's Auto Body purchased it. If the same employees are employed through Mike's, I would warrant a guess that their level of quality is the same.

There is one on Village Parkway in San Ramon. I'd done my Nissan Van and Acura Integra from him. Do not remember the name though it is across from Taco Bell. Also, ask Pleasanton Acura and you might get couple of names.

Grand Collision Center in Hayward is really good. Ask for Kim Bumanlag for a quote. Tell her that Ed "the guy with the blue TL" sent you. She'll hook it up.

I recently repaired my WDP TL after rear-end accident at Jim's Autobody in Walnut Creek. They did a great job matching the paint on the bumpers and body - I could not see any difference anymore. You know, this is really common problem with WDP TLs so I am quite impressed that they matched the paint perfectly.
