long trip on 19" wheels

im planing on taking a trip from new jersey to charlotte but i have only 19" aftermarket wheels, i already did it once was a little harsh ride especially when the tires heatet up but not to bad either..... The only concern that i have always is what if something happens on the road like a blown tire for example what do i do then....

There's no problem there, unless something hapen. lol would be funny to see you with 3 19'' and 1 spare tire llol just wont fit....

If you still have stuck rims/tires ...just take 20mins to install them before ur trip...::2cent::

A blow out shouldn't be an issue. Make sure you're running enough air pressure to begin with. Check this in the morning before driving. Keeping tires properly inflated will minimize heat build-up. Tires heat up more when they're underinflated. If you don't know the right psi because you're running plus size, something around 40psi should work (not for oem, just for plus size)...

I'm confused as to why you think it's not safe to drive 650 miles on 19" wheels??? Why would it not be? Are you 19's totally different rolling diameter than stock? If so that is the only think I could see being a problem if you had to put your temporary spare on. As long as you kept similar rolling diameter it wouldn't be a big deal other than it will look funny.

well the only problem i see if it came to a blown tire it would be much easier to find a place to replace the the tire on a stock rim then at an performance wheel. I dont mind if it looks akward with the spare tire but how many miles can u really drive with it and u cant really drive fast
