a couple times when it has gotten really cold out(below 9 degrees) when i start my car all the lights in the instrument panal don't work. the car runs fine but i have no idea what speed i am going or anything. 15-20 minutes later boom everything comes on but it resets the trip mileage and certain lights like vsa and abs stay lit. the next time i start the car again (an hour later) everything is fine. has anybody experienced this?

 

take it to the dealer. Could be a loose connection where when it is cold everthing contracts and there is no contact made. And, when it heats up there is expansion and contact is made.
