Lightbulb Questions

There are a few areas on my dash which are not back-lit. Can someone verify if a bulb is out or there is no bulb to start with?

  1. "Max" button (left of the steering wheel) that controls the light brightness.
  2. "VSA OFF" button (left of the steering wheel).
  3. "Heated Mirror" button even when off (left side of steering wheel.
  4. L and R mirror jog switch (left side of steering wheel)
  5. Stick Shift
Thank you,

JC

All those bulbs are quite easy to get to.

The gear illumination is a little harder to get to, though.

Lucky none of your steering wheel bulbs are out =)

One of my steering wheel bulbs is out - and it really hurst my feelings. I take it that bulbs are consumables and therefore not covered by warranty?

This is generally correct. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, you might be able to work it out.
BTW, steering wheel bulbs are not that difficult. Look in the 3G Garage for detailed DIY instructions by DeathMetal and myself.

Yeah the steering wheel bulbs aren't too hard at all.

He won't be needing the DIY though, as he doesn't have any bulbs in there burnt out lol
