I think that anything white would give you results close to the Lexus license plate lighting. The blue ones you have right now would get you pulled over here in chicago thats for sure.

^+1 White LED bulb's usually have just a hint of blue in them. See if you can exchange the blue ones for white ones.

Take a look here:

http://www.superbrightleds.com/vehic...cura/tl/1/1055

They have a lot of choices.

This one should work well: WLED-xHP.

Those look nasty. Get the 4SMT LED bulbs 194 style from Amazon. I have compared it to our Lexus and it looks brighter then the Lexus.

I am super picky anal when it comes to stuff and I am the kind of guy who wants to upgrade stuff to look 100% OEM. First off DO NOT go with a cold cathode setup. They dont last worth shit plus you have to do all sorts of custom shit to get them installed.
This is what I bought its a single SMD LED for each plate light. Color output is VERY close to newer OEM lexus cars.
www.superbrightleds.com and get the "pure white" WLED-WHP

I went to the site and couldn't find the exact part. If you don't mind could you give the part # for the exact one you installed.

Also, if you have any pics that would be awesome. TIA.

My only beef with these super bright LEDs is that they night blind the reverse camera a bit at night. kinda annoying.

Could you have the license plate light turn off when you shift into reverse?
