well my friend just got his license plate led's installed and man they just look way cleaner than the yellow oem bulbs xP. so i was just wondering what size bulb is perfect for the TL and what brand/model is really good and where to get them? thanks.

194 is the bulb size.

They are pretty bright, but I am thinking of going a little brighter. All of my interior bulbs are from V-LED's. Probably going with these instead: http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...-p4481133.html

sweet thanks for the info man! yeahs vled was cheap enough discount is great =] just needed bulb size and are their bulbs really bright? are they solid white or bluish

the link from vled you gave me are for side markers. will they still work for license plate?

V-LED's are bright. I've only had them in for a few days so I can't personally vouch for their longevity, but they seem to be a very popular brand on the boards. They are white as well, not blue. I have a Type-S, so this was something I was very particular about since I didn't want blue hues with my red lighting. Both the V'Led's and SuperbrightLED's were white as advertised.

The link provided will work for your License Plate as well. The bulbs are very interchangeable on the TL as long as you know the direction of the socket. The LP socket is downward facing, so standard wedge bulbs will be fine.
