hey guys, im getting custom vanity plate for my 08 tl. im not sure what to get though. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i've seen AZN BENZ on a TL before

 

i know i sound like an old man when i say this, but custom plates are a bad idea.....

example....

your driving your car minding your own business when you cut someone off who is highly aggitated....no big deal, weeks go by, and your parked at the mall....you go to get into your car and you notice that there is a 4ft. long key scratch along the side of your car....

the highly aggitated individual that you cut off in traffic a few weeks ago rememberd your stupidly clever license plate and was all about revenge.....now i ask you, is it worth it for you to have some stupid license plate that says im too cool for you.....

You could say that about any customization that makes your car stand out.

 

I saw a chick fly by in a TL a couple weeks ago with license plate "WAS HIS".
Not a great suggestion for you but I found it funny.

this is somewhat true and i thought about this, but i went ahead and got my own. i may get rid of it next registration though because reasons you mentioned but then again, there aren't a lot of KBP TL-Ss in this area anyway. Maybe 3 at the most

 

I was going to get UA7 its available in CA but most of my friends wont get it but settled for SL VADOR witch is for my name SALVADOR what you guys think.

 

+1. Besides that, it's not like there's too many TL Type S' in 1 single area. In my area, there are only 2 CBP Type S cars, and mine & the other are already distinguishable enough.

I was very close to doing that, well putting the number 1 and then the letter I in sequence. As I filled out the Louisiana Personalized Plate registration, it said "The number one substituted for the letter I or the number zero for the letter O" under the 'what you cannot request on a plate' section.

My reason was to aggravate cops. I think I accomplished that without the plate though.....
