your thread has been moved from the Performance section to the main section. Contrary to popular belief, changing your plate frames does not give you +WHP.
I have some plate covers (Stainless steel) that support my local university.

Nice indeed. Are those metal or chrome covered plastic? I'm looking for metal ones myself.

Has anybody noticed that the top and bottom screw holes are different. It might be me but I currently only have screws for the bottom screw holes and when I tried to put them in the top holes for a tighter fit they would not go all the way in.

I wanted to use four screws for a license plate border to stop the rattle but I can not figure out if it is really two types of screws.

They are all the same screws, but I had a similar issue with my trunk carpet. I removed some of the screws around the DVD-Rom to prep for an upcoming project and had trouble getting a few back into place. I switched a few around to different spots and everything ended up fitting fine.

PM me if you can't get yours to work. I think I have the screws from my front LP around somewhere I can send you a couple.

Are there any with glass (or plastic) covering the whole plate?

You can add a plastic cover for $3 with your order from auto attire. They are pretty easy to find anywhere online too.

Yes, but although the OP titled it plate covers he was referring to frames because he said he prefers it to be in chrome.

I have that same frame on my '08 NBP TL-S. I also have the same radar detector. Can't beat that 9500ix.

Elegant TYPE S, where can I get that license plate frame?

Love that RJ kit. Makes the TL look more like an exotic sports car. Seriously thinking about getting one (not sure if I should get painted or unpainted kit). Like the fact it replaces bumpers instead of just duct taped on, as well as the front lower mesh vents.
