LED drl's and HID fogs

Hi guys-

My 2007 TL Type-S has the bi-xenon headlights which os nice because it also makes the DRL's more of a custom look rather then have to be funtional for lighting purposes. My question is if anyone has tried the 9005 LED bulb that v-leds sells? Also, has anyone tried installing a HID kit for the factory fog housings? Just curious of the possibility of doing it with mounting the ballast, etc down in the front wheel well.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I was thinking about doing the same thing. LEDs for the DRL and 5000k or 6000k for my Foglights.

If you are adding LED bulb as the DRL, it won't be bright. It will gives you only half of the wattage.

And people HATE you when they're driving in front of you or toward you at night.

I have LED DRL's. V-LED is currently working on a harness for our DRL's similar to what you'd use for an HID retrofit kit with a relay and direct wire to the battery for full power and it will use resistors to correct the issue with a DRL light. If you're interested in making this harness yourself, PM me, but I'd recomend just waiting until V-LED's comes out with theirs. This will provide the LED's with a full 12V of power instead of the current 6.6V or whatever it is.
