Lauching on Drag Radials 6MT

Im gonna try and run on some radials tonight and just wondering what RPMs to launch at to keep from tearing something up...to those who have them what do you lauch at? I was thinking a conservative 4500rpm....my buddy in a CL 6 speed lauches at 5k but i wanna take it easy..any suggestions would help

I don't know, but a lot of people drop the clutch at around 2200~2500 because the clutch slips, I don't know how DRs will do. Maybe you could pull off 3000 without the clutch slipping.
