Not that I know of, I've driven manual quite a bit and never had a knee problem. (And my knees are bad cause I really hurt them skiing once). Maybe you should see your doctor.

I would see a doctor. I doubt the manual is to blame though.

I hate it when my "kness" buckles and aches.......

We are close in age.. Both my knees have been under the knife - the last in Nov 06. I don't think my "stick" days had anything to do with it,,, :-) However, my left knee "was" bad first.... Hmmmmmmmmm

I could see it possibly aggravating a preexisting condition but not so sure about it causing one.

I've been driving manual tranny cars for 45 years without a knee problem.

The Acura clutch is so light, I can't imagine it bothering anyone.

any repetative motion can cause injury, along with poor biomechanics. i have many patients that drive for a living and they have a miriad of knee/hip problems that are fixed very simply. if you drive for a living and are in the car 6-10hrs a day you might attribute the knee pain to this.

I went for about 15yrs without a manual and just bought my 6mt in June06. The first few weeks my knee and hip was sore. I am 47 and currently not doing any thing to help my fitness level so I just chalked it up to old age. It eventually went away.
