the really cool thing about kbp is that it is only availible in the type s....a little more exclusive....

the bad thing about kbp, is that its like having a black car as far as keeping it clean goes.....

 

if i ever got a tls my first color choice would be kinetic blue (second choice morroccan red). why? cus it's much rarer than your wdp's nbp's acm's etc... and it's damn sexy

 

KBP is the way to go...gotta love it when you dont see many on the road except yours...and also it is a head turner =)

 

I liked the KBP, until I started seeing a million of blue civics and tsx driving around my area...

so the choice narrowed down to NBP or WDP.....But I do like the red....now this is a truly unique color for a TL-S...

Yes, red. I have only seen 2 other MRP TL-S's ever. One kind of near me and another in NYC. Seen a bunch of the other colors.

 

i have been driving kbp for 8 months and i have only seem myself coming the other way one time....i see black, white and silver tl's all day long, but i never see my kbp, except when i am getting into it....

 

I luv the KBP... that is my #1 choice color next to WDP but I couldn't afford a new type S.

 

ok i changed my mind. my #1 pick would be MRP!

 

that picture looks nice but in direct sunlight the MRP looks too orange..yuk! MRP = Bastard Child Color of the RRP

 

I got a KBP and I got tons of compliments from strangers on how good it looks. I'm glad I got KBP although it is a bit tough to keep clean.

 

My friend who sold me my CBP TL-S drives a KBP himself and I love the color. 1 of the main reason's I stayed away from it was because he had one as well lol.

I'm partial to being low-key as well, I speed alot, and occasionally enjoy some street-racing so the last thing I need is to look like sonic the hedgehog to all the Local PD's.

I love my CBP, matches the TLS rims perfectly, and I don't see too many of them.

I personally would prefer not to got with the KBP only cause like someone else mentioned earlier its kinda like a screaming color. "PLEASE GIVE ME A SPEEDING TICKET!!" haha! I have seen them on the road before and its an ok color. After seeing the above picture though, I dunno what it is but I like it all the sudden

I know many will NOT agree but the CBP has also really grown on me and I think the TL-S stock wheels only look good on that color TL-S.

I current have a NBP and I can tell you one thing, I will NEVER buy a black car again. Love it when its clean, which is usually for like two seconds. I should have gone with WDP

 

When I bought my TL brand new back in 05. Dealership had a Gold (whatever the name of the color is) but It had Ebony interior - Navigaton and 6 Speed Manual I almost went for it but I loved the NBP and bought the last 2005 NBP my dealer had.

 

I got a KBP because it is like the official TLS color. I have own 02 NBP TLS and a dark grey Lexus and those colors are great, but I wanted something new. When I first saw blue in the dealership, I told myself that is the color I wanted. I know some people think that it attracts attention, but I don't really care, it is my car and that's what I like. And I never grown tired of looking at it. It looks so unique, the color shade looks different on sunny and cloudy days.

 

I too would be driving around in KBP if I was able to find one with a MT at the time I was looking to purchase. Ended up with CBP which I think is a classy color. KBP screams for attention, which is good and bad, because I'm sure you will grab the cops attention easier as well.

 

Seriously though, the kinetic blue looks awesome. They didn't have one on the lot when I picked up my carbon bronze, or who knows what I would have got. I just wanted to change up from black, which I'd had on my last 4 cars. It's definitely different in person than on the website.

KBP is the color featured on the Acura's Type-S Showroom website. I have eyed the color combination for a long long time. Finally I went and bought the KBP. SO amazing. I agree when ppl say the wheels are bit funky and ...well not fit for the KBP. Save up and get a good set of 18s, don't go any higher or you'll have a very bumpy / stiff ride.

 

I have grown to love the stock 17s gunmetals. But if I were to upgrade, the 18 aspec FTW!

 

+1, accept there was no growing lol. It's the only color that looks decent with the factory wheels.
Here's how I derived my choice.
KBP = I <3 Cops
NBP = Wash my car every 2 hours (but I love the color)
ASM = Just not a fan of Silver cars
WDP = Bumpers/Spoilers Never Match
MRP = Yuck
CBP = Goes good with the rims, stays clean & mellow.

2nd choice - ASM = Nice choice but its too popular. I see too many ASMs out on the road.
3rd choice - CBP = Goes good with the rims. I don't think this color would make the car hold its value as much as a NBP or WDP??
