Hey guys
i followed ur advice and washed my black TL and waxed it my self. I used meguiars gold class wash and meguiars nxt liquid wax. I think the wax turned out well but the wash didnt. For some reasons i got 3 light scratches which i kno werent there before. Also the car was so hard to dry and the windows had soap residue all over them. What do you guys suggest for these problems. Thank god i have a cali duster becasue after 5 hours dust stormed my car. Over all i think it went well but thought i would have a better shine.

make sure you rinse your car off really well. If you still have soap residue try filitering or ionizing your water. For the most part doing that will cause little to no water spots. Also the scratches might be from what ever your using to wash your car. Make sure when you wash to keep your, sponge, brush, etc. clean and free from as much dirt as possible. I had that problem to after I washed the bottom of my doors or my front bumper. The dirt and krap would stick to my sponge and when I would wash other parts of my car it would leave marks.

yea the scratch was at the direct bottem of the doors on both sides one scratch on each side any easy cheap way to remove it?
