That's kind of a cool idea. With as much as I scrape on curbs and driveways and stuff even with the stock suspension I'd probably mess up a license plate pretty quick!

Anyhow I'm so glad our state doesn't require front plates :P

yeah but im thinking with the way the aspec lip has the space in the middle it might just work. Ever since i hit that damn cone and ruined my license plate ive kept it off. In new york its required to have a plate mounted to the front of the vehicle. Ive kept it off till my custom plates come in and so far this week have gotten 3 tickets. But i really like the look without the plate. So i figured mght as well get this for when im parked in front of my job becuase that seems to be the only time i get messed with.

Or when a cop pulls you over, just flip the switch and say "Sir, I'm not sure what you're talking about, I have a front plate...you must have me mistaken for another TL you saw!"

If I was unfortunate enough to live in a state that required the front plate...this would be my FIRST MOD! I hate front plates...period...even if they're for decoration. Awesome find!

Great idea... but I'd rip that thing off my car the very first time I came out of my driveway.

Ha its funny you said that. Ever since i had my car lowered with my Tein SS's, my driveway has the ill slope so i was scrapping my front end. I decided to got into the mason business lol and cemented the front of my driveway and made it even with the street so now i no longer scrape.
